Terrifc inspiration for back to school, Hughes style. Also love how the eighties was accented with 50’s elements. Can’t find the listing for ‘Sixteen Candles’ but all those pics were Costume Designed by Marylin Vance, who also gave us iconic wardrobe pieces from ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’, ‘Mystery Men’ and ‘Pretty Woman’. She’s now quite a successful producer. See how far a well dressed woman can go?

Sixteen Candles is just the best! I love the style in that movie.
